01 — About
What this service is, and what it is not.
GlobalGate Homes is a referral service. When a homeowner sends it a request about a home improvement project, a person reads it and contacts independent businesses that serve the homeowner’s area. It does not carry out the work, and it is not a party to anything the homeowner signs.
This page describes the service in plain English, sets out what it does and what it does not do, identifies the company that operates it, and explains how requests are handled.
One job inside the service: the introduction.
An introduction between a homeowner and an independent business.
GlobalGate Homes publishes information about home improvement projects and puts homeowners in touch with independent businesses. That introduction is the whole of the service.
You describe the project you have in mind — the kind of work, where the property is, and anything you want a business to know before it gets in touch — and how a business can reach you. The request comes to GlobalGate Homes, and a person reads it.
Once you have authorised it, GlobalGate Homes contacts independent businesses of its own choosing that serve your area, and gives them your project details and the contact detail you chose. Any business that is interested contacts you directly. You are free to talk to it, to ask it for a quote, or to decline.
From that point the relationship is between you and that business. It visits the property if a visit is needed. It writes its own quote. It signs its own contract with you. It carries out the work, and you pay it. GlobalGate Homes is not a party to that contract and does not stand behind the work.
What is not promised. That any business replies, how many do, how quickly, at what price, or how well it works. GlobalGate Homes does not vet, rank or vouch for the businesses it contacts, and contacting one is not a recommendation. Check a business’s registration yourself before you hire it: use the official Washington register.
That boundary is not fine print added at the end. It is the shape of the service, and this page is written around it. How it works takes the same four steps one at a time and names who is responsible at each of them.
- You describe
- The kind of work, the area, and anything you want a business to know before it gets in touch.
- You authorise
- GlobalGate Homes to receive the request and to share your project details and chosen contact detail with businesses it contacts about it. The box is never ticked for you.
- We read it
- A person at GlobalGate Homes reads the request. Nothing is matched automatically, and nothing about it is published.
- We contact businesses
- GlobalGate Homes contacts independent businesses that serve your area, gives them your project details and your one contact detail, and charges its own separate fee for that: US $49 per request, with a homeowner’s first request free. See what the fee buys.
- They quote and contract
- Each business that contacts you prepares its own quote on its own terms and contracts with you directly. GlobalGate Homes neither writes the quote nor signs the contract.
The line, written down.
Two lists, side by side, so that nothing has to be inferred from the rest of the page. The right-hand column is the one that matters most, and it is the longer of the two on purpose.
What GlobalGate Homes does
- Publishes information about home improvement projects.
- Reads each request, and contacts independent businesses that serve the homeowner’s area about it.
- Asks for your authorisation before it receives your request or shares anything from it, with a box that is never ticked for you.
- Gives those businesses your project details and the contact detail you chose — and nothing more.
- Charges a flat US $49 per request for that help with the introduction — a homeowner’s first request is free — and tells you the fee applies before it contacts businesses on a paid request.
- Answers questions about using this site and this referral service.
What GlobalGate Homes does not do
- Carry out, manage, schedule or supervise construction work.
- Visit a property, measure it, survey it, design it or specify it.
- Advise on the construction work itself: what should be built, how, or in what materials.
- Arbitrate a technical disagreement, write or check a specification, supervise a site, or manage a project.
- Prepare a quote, price a job, negotiate a price, or review a quote for you.
- Sign a construction contract, or become a party to one between you and a business.
- Take payment for work, hold a deposit, or move money between you and a business.
- Warrant, guarantee or insure the work of any business.
- Vet, rank, recommend or vouch for the businesses it contacts, or choose which one you hire.
- Act as your representative in any dealing with a business, or in any dispute with one.
The service name and its registered operator.
The company behind the referral service.
GlobalGate Homes is the name this referral service is published under. The details below say how to reach it.
GlobalGate Homes is the trading name of the referral service operated by GLOBAL GATE HOMES UK LTD, a private limited company registered in England and Wales with Companies House under company number 17131309.
How the service is funded. A homeowner may pay two different parties, for two different things. You pay the business directly for the work — its quote, its contract and its invoices, none of which passes through GlobalGate Homes. And you pay GlobalGate Homes a separate fee for its own service: the help with the introduction described below. That fee is a flat US $49 per request, and a homeowner’s first request is free. No payment is taken on this website. For a paid request, GlobalGate Homes tells you that the US $49 fee applies, and you can decline. After your agreement, GlobalGate Homes emails you an invoice, payable by bank transfer or card. Payment is collected off-site before the first business is contacted. Businesses have no agreement with GlobalGate Homes and are free to reply or not. Whether a business ever pays GlobalGate Homes anything is still undecided; it will be stated here before any business pays anything, rather than described in careful language in the meantime.
Questions about any of this can be put to the address and the number in the footer of every page. A person answers, in English or French.
What the fee buys, and the line it does not cross
The fee pays for help with the introduction process, and for nothing else.
That means putting your request into a shape a business can quote from, explaining what a written quote should contain and what to ask about one, contacting on your behalf independent businesses that serve your area, and telling you plainly what happened. It is help with the request and the approach, not with the building.
It does not buy advice about the construction work. GlobalGate Homes does not say what should be built or how, does not choose materials or methods, does not write or check a specification, does not settle a technical disagreement between you and a business, does not supervise a site, does not manage a project, and gives no opinion on whether a quote or a method is right for your house. If you need that kind of judgement, it comes from the business you contract with, or from a professional you engage for it — not from this service, and not from this fee.
WAC 296-200A-015 requires general contractor registration for consultants overseeing an owner’s construction activities, with an exception for professionals acting within their licence. GlobalGate Homes does none of those things, is not paid to do any of them, and nothing in this fee may be read as buying any of them.

- Terms and privacy
- The terms of use and the privacy notice describe, respectively, what this service undertakes and what a request contains.
Requests can be sent through this site. Nothing guarantees an answer.
A request confirmed as recorded is stored on this site’s server for GlobalGate Homes. The server attempts to notify GlobalGate Homes by email so that a person can read the request; the confirmation shows the notification status. What happens after that depends on independent businesses that owe GlobalGate Homes nothing.
There is no directory of businesses on this site, and no business has an agreement with GlobalGate Homes. The businesses contacted about a request are independent and free to reply or not; none of them is named on this site.
The request flow gives you a reference only after the server confirms storage. It also shows whether the notification email was accepted for sending. If no usable response arrives, it says receipt could not be confirmed and gives the email address and telephone number that reach GlobalGate Homes.
