01 — Privacy notice
What a request contains, and who receives it.
A plain-English notice for globalgatehomes.com. It describes what this site does today, step by step, rather than what a referral service might one day do.
GlobalGate Homes is the trading name of the referral service operated by GLOBAL GATE HOMES UK LTD, a private limited company registered in England and Wales with Companies House under company number 17131309. This company is responsible for processing the requests described here. For enquiries about your data, write to contact@globalgatehomes.com. Its registered office is listed on About.
Browsing sends technical data, including your IP address and the resources requested, to the web host and to the external services that supply fonts and photographs. The site’s own code does not set cookies or include analytics or advertising trackers. A request you submit is stored by the host and an email notification is attempted for GlobalGate Homes; on your authorisation, a person can then share the project details and your chosen contact detail with independent businesses contacted about that project. The service fee remains US $49 per request, with a homeowner’s first request free. No payment is taken through this site. The sections below distinguish these uses.
Technical browsing and project requests are separate.
The site’s own code uses no cookies or advertising trackers.
These pages use no analytics script, advertising tag, tracking pixel or social widget. Their own code does not set cookies. Loading a page still requires technical exchanges with the host and external resource providers, described in section 07.
The site’s own code does not use cookies, localStorage or sessionStorage, and it has no cookie banner. This does not mean that no technical data reaches a server. Browser settings, caching and autofill are separate from storage performed by the site’s code.
There is no account, login or newsletter form on these pages. The request authorisation covers contact about your project only; it does not authorise marketing. A separate marketing process would need to be disclosed and justified before use.
The request flow sends the details you enter when you authorise and submit them. Ordinary page and resource requests also transmit technical data. Section 05 describes request storage; section 07 describes the service providers and the details still to be confirmed.
- Cookies
- The site’s own code does not set cookies. Technical requests still reach the host and external resource providers.
- Analytics
- None. No measurement script, no page-view counter, no heat map, no session recording.
- Advertising
- None. No advertising tag, no conversion pixel, no remarketing list, no audience is built from your visit.
- Accounts
- None. There is nothing to sign up for, so there is no profile, no saved history and no password.
- Local storage
- The form code does not save your input in localStorage or sessionStorage. Your browser may separately retain autofill data or cached pages according to your settings.
The project and contact fields you fill in.
The request flow asks about the project before it asks about you, and shows you everything it will send before anything is sent.
-
01
Step one — the project
The project type you pick from the list, the city or ZIP code the property is in as you type it, and, if you want to add one, a description of the work. The description is optional and it is yours to write: put in as much or as little as you would want a business to read.
Nothing leaves the page at this step. No name and no contact detail has been asked for.
-
02
Step two — how to reach you
Your name, the contact method you choose, and one contact detail to match it: an email address if you chose email, or a phone number if you chose phone. This describes the project request form. An email address is also needed for the invoice on a paid request, as explained in section 04.
Nothing else is asked. No street address, no identity document, no date of birth, no proof of ownership, and no payment details of any kind.
-
03
Step three — the confirmation
A final screen that lists, field by field, exactly what GlobalGate Homes will receive, with the authorisation box underneath it, unticked. It lets you check the project and contact details before authorising their submission; the technical fields sent alongside them are listed below.
These are the fields you fill in. On submission, the page also sends the language, the authorisation and its version, two timing values and a hidden antispam field. The server records the validated request and authorisation, as section 05 explains. If you contact the service by email or telephone, the information you provide also travels through those providers.
GlobalGate Homes, then the businesses it contacts about your project.
GlobalGate Homes, and the businesses it contacts about your project.
Passing your project to independent businesses is the point of this service — it is what you authorise on the last screen. What this notice can tell you is exactly who, exactly what, and exactly when.
A request goes to one destination: GlobalGate Homes. It receives everything listed in section 03, and the person who runs GlobalGate Homes reads it. The site itself sends nothing to any business: it holds no list of businesses, and a page cannot add a recipient of its own.
GlobalGate Homes then contacts, about that project, independent businesses that serve your area, chosen by GlobalGate Homes. Those businesses are given your project details — the project type, the area and your description if you wrote one — and the one contact detail you chose. Your project details and that contact detail are shared only with businesses contacted about that project.
They receive them so they can contact you about this project and, if they are interested, prepare their own quote. GlobalGate Homes does not vet, rank or vouch for the businesses it contacts, and it will tell you, if you ask, which businesses it contacted about your request.
The fee and payment information. You pay the business directly for its work. GlobalGate Homes charges a separate flat US $49 per request, with a homeowner’s first request free. For a paid request, GlobalGate Homes tells you that the fee applies, and you can decline. After your agreement, GlobalGate Homes emails you an invoice, payable by bank transfer or card. Payment is collected off-site before the first business is contacted. This website does not collect payment details or process payments. The request form has no card, bank account or billing address field. An email address is needed to receive the invoice, including if you chose phone contact for your project. Off-site billing and payment are separate from this form. The payment providers, their data handling and the retention of billing records remain to be confirmed. Do not include card or bank account details in your project description.
- Received by
- GlobalGate Homes receives the whole request through its host and mail infrastructure. The provider details still need to be confirmed (section 07).
- Shared with
- Independent businesses GlobalGate Homes contacts about this project, and only those. They receive the project details and the contact detail you chose.
- Never pre-ticked
- The authorisation box starts empty. If you do not tick it, nothing is sent.
- Why they receive it
- So they can contact you about this project and prepare their own quote. GlobalGate Homes does not quote and does not carry out work.
- Payment details
- This request form does not ask for card numbers, bank account details or a billing address. Off-site billing and payment are separate processes; their details remain to be confirmed in section 07.
- Afterwards
- What a business does with your details once it has them is governed by that business and its own privacy practice, not by this notice. It is one more thing worth asking it before you let it start.
When you send a request, this is exactly what is stored.
A request goes to this site’s request handler for validation and storage. It then attempts an email notification to GlobalGate Homes through the mail service. Businesses are contacted separately by a person, as section 04 describes.
If the server accepts your authorised request and confirms its storage, it records a random reference; the UTC receipt time; the page language; the project type, city or ZIP code and optional description; your name, chosen contact method and corresponding contact detail; the version and exact text of the authorisation; and a checksum of the reference, time, version and authorisation text. The storage directory is configured to deny web access. The checksum is a consistency check, not independent proof that a record cannot be altered.
The request record does not include your IP address, user agent or referrer. Antispam checks use a keyed hash of the connection’s IP address, with a daily salt, for an hourly rate limit. Duplicate detection uses a keyed hash of the chosen contact detail, project type and place for a ten-minute window. Expired entries are removed when their lists are next updated. These statements concern the application’s files; they do not describe or exclude the host’s access logs.
After storage, the server attempts to email the request to contact@globalgatehomes.com. The notification log records only the reference, time and mail status. Acceptance by the mail service does not prove receipt in the mailbox or that a person has read it. If notification fails, the request remains stored and requires follow-up; the current handler does not automatically retry the email. A confirmation with a reference means storage was confirmed, not that a business has been contacted or will reply. If the connection fails before a usable confirmation arrives, storage may still have occurred.
A request you send
- Transmitted
- To this site’s server, then an attempted email notification to GlobalGate Homes through the mail infrastructure. Later sharing with businesses is described in section 04.
- Received
- By GlobalGate Homes. Businesses are contacted afterwards, by a person, as section 04 describes.
- Stored
- On the server that hosts this site: the fields listed above, the authorisation words and version stamp, and the time. Not your IP address, user agent or referring page.
- For how long
- The period set out in section 08.
One box. Never ticked for you.
The box you tick, word for word.
Nothing can be sent without it, and it is never ticked in advance. Here is the whole of what it says, so that it can be read before the last screen rather than on it.
The box sits on the confirmation screen, underneath the field-by-field summary of what GlobalGate Homes will receive. Pressing the button without ticking it does nothing except tell you to tick it.
Each version of this wording carries a version stamp, so that the exact words agreed to can be traced afterwards rather than reconstructed. The stamp on the current wording is 2026-09-13.2. That stamp is recorded with every request, together with the exact words in the language you ticked them, so the authorisation on record can be traced to what you read.
You can change your mind before you press the button — go back a step, or close the page. After a request has been transmitted, you can withdraw the authorisation by writing to GlobalGate Homes, as section 08 describes, and nothing further is shared. A business already contacted has what it was given; to have that removed, ask that business directly — GlobalGate Homes will tell you which businesses it contacted.
The wording on the confirmation screen
“I authorize GlobalGate Homes to receive this request and to share my project details and the contact detail I chose with independent businesses it contacts about this project, so they can contact me.”
It is a single checkbox and it starts empty, on every visit and for every request. It is not combined with anything else: there is no second purpose hidden inside it, no marketing or prospecting permission attached to it, no permission to send you text messages or automated calls, no payment authority inside it, and no consequence to leaving it untouched other than nothing being sent.
Hosting, fonts, photographs and request notifications.
The list is short because there is little on these pages. Two of them only supply files your browser needs to draw the page; the third, the web host, is where this site and its request handler run.
The host receives technical data when your browser requests a page. Google Fonts receives requests for typefaces; pages with Unsplash photographs request those images from Unsplash. These exchanges disclose the requesting IP address and may include browser information and a referrer according to browser settings. The form code does not send the project fields to Google Fonts or Unsplash. Submitted requests are handled by the host and notification mail infrastructure. Their exact operators, locations and server-side practices still need to be confirmed by the service operator.
The published page code contains no analytics, advertising, customer-relationship or email-marketing integration. That observation does not establish what processing or logging takes place on the host or mail servers.
- Web hosting
- The host serves these pages and stores submitted requests. It can receive and log IP addresses, requested URLs, time, browser information and referrers. Its identity, logging settings, retention and hosting locations still need to be confirmed by the operator.
- Google Fonts
- The two typefaces this site is set in are served by Google Fonts. Google's servers see the network address that requested the font files.
- Unsplash
- The photographs on this site are served by Unsplash. Its servers likewise see the network address that requested the image files.
- Request delivery
- The request handler uses PHP mail() to pass notifications to the configured mail system. The host and mailbox provider process these messages. Their exact identity, routing and retention still need confirmation; no third-party form or email-marketing API is configured in the application.
- Email and telephone
- If you write or call, your message travels as ordinary email or an ordinary call, through your provider and ours.
- Payment
- No payment service is integrated into this website. After your agreement, an invoice is sent by email for payment by bank transfer or card, off-site and before the first business is contacted. The payment providers and their data handling arrangements remain to be confirmed.
- Everything else
- No further integration appears in the page code. Server and mailbox processing cannot be established from browser code alone.
One email. No form, no account, no hoop.
How long a request is kept, and how to have it deleted.
An accepted request is stored on this site’s server. Email delivery can create a separate copy in GlobalGate Homes’ mailbox. The paragraphs below explain retention and how to request deletion.
Where it is kept. Accepted requests are stored in files on the web host, protected against public access. Notifications delivered by email create separate mailbox copies. Emails you send directly to GlobalGate Homes also create mailbox copies.
For how long. The configured retention period for requests is 365 days. The current server routine removes older request records and notification-log entries when a new accepted request arrives, at most once a day. Without a new request, this routine does not run. It does not delete mailbox messages, backups or copies held by contacted businesses. Still to be verified: execution on the production host and the operator’s deletion procedure for email, backups and other copies. This page cannot confirm automatic deletion of all copies after 365 days. You can request earlier deletion using the contact below.
How to ask for deletion. Write one line to contact@globalgatehomes.com. Say what you sent and roughly when, so it can be found. You do not have to explain why.
There is no delete button on this site, and this notice will not pretend there is one. Deletion is done by a person, on an email. And it has one real limit worth stating plainly: a business that has already received your request has its own copy, which this service cannot reach into and remove. To have that copy deleted, ask that business; GlobalGate Homes will tell you, on request, which businesses it contacted about your project.
What you can ask for
- A copy
- What is held about you, and — where a request was transmitted — which businesses were contacted about it and what they were given.
- A correction
- Anything wrong in what is held, put right.
- Deletion
- What is held about you, deleted. See the limit described beside this ledger.
- To withdraw the authorisation
- Taken back at any time, for any reason or none. Withdrawing it does not undo a transmission that already happened; it stops anything further.
- Not to be contacted
- Say so and it is noted. There is no marketing list to come off, because there is none to be on.
- How to ask
- One email to contact@globalgatehomes.com. A person answers, in English or French.
Tell us, and we fix it.
Built to be read by everyone, and corrected when it is not.
Every page opens with a skip link to the content and can be used with a keyboard alone. Focus is visible wherever it lands. Each page has one first-level heading and headings in order beneath it. Photographs carry written descriptions. Colour contrast is checked against the WCAG 2.2 level AA ratios, text can be enlarged without losing content, and motion is switched off for a device that asks for reduced motion.
The request flow is built the same way. Each step is announced with its number, the heading of the step you move to receives focus, every field carries a visible label, an error names the field and sends focus to it, and the outcome of the last screen — the reference, or the statement that the request was not sent — is announced to a screen reader rather than only shown.
If any part of this site is hard to use, write to contact@globalgatehomes.com and it will be fixed and you will be told. The same question can always be asked by telephone on +1 (509) 741-0381.
The terms of use have a page of their own.
Terms of use used to sit in this notice. They are now on Terms of use, where they set out what this referral service undertakes, what it does not promise, and who is responsible for the quote, the contract and the work.
Anything unclear on this page, and any request to see, correct or delete what is held about you: write to contact@globalgatehomes.com. A person answers, in English or French.
